Ramadan is a spiritual and holy month when Muslims fast during the day, and welcome friends and family to their table for night-time feasts when breaking the fast. It's a wonderful and joyful event that embodies a spirit of generosity, openness, and friendship. Since 2006, the Abrahamic Reunion has convened Multi-faith Ramadan Peace Dinners (Iftars) bringing together thousands of Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze, and Samaritans. The Iftar is a gateway event - often the first time participants encounter the Abrahamic Reunion - and invigorates the community of peacebuilders for the entire year.
Watch this video about the amazing 2025 Iftar Dinner that occurred during the war to remind everyone of their deeper connection to one another as human beings. You will get to experience the hope and attend the 2026 Iftar Dinner with peacebuilders from across the Holy Land.
The group will meditate every day in the morning with Shahabuddin David Less, travel to holy, sacred, and historical sites including the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and many other incredible places, and be part of Abrahamic Reunion events. You will meet the AR Young Peacebuilders, the Women's Peacebuilding Circle, and visit the homes of peacemakers who maintain the light of hope for true and lasting peace in the Holy Land -- they embody it.
On this journey you will not only dive deep into the spirit and practice of peacemaking, you will help build peace each day.
